By using Northengine you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — they outline your rights and responsibilities on the platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any part of the Northengine platform you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts to use Northengine. By using the platform you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Northengine for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm, disrupt, or misuse the platform. Prohibited activities include attempting to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems, distributing malware or malicious code, scraping or data-mining the platform without written consent, and impersonating other users or businesses.
4. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@northengine.se if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
5. Payments & Subscriptions
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and trademarks on the Northengine platform are the exclusive property of Leo Svenell (trading as Northengine) or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. Content you upload or create using our tools remains your property.
7. Platform Availability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice or take the platform offline in response to security incidents. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leo Svenell (Northengine) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, without notice in cases of serious breaches. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page or by contacting support.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
